My Wife and I recently visited the renovated Peter Island Resort. They have mooring balls in Deadman's Bay and Great Harbour, along with their Marina in Sprat Bay. We originally grabbed a mooring ball in Deadman's Bay, but the Dinghy ride can be a little adventuous if the winds or swell is not just right. The General Manager, Ed Linsley, that we know from his time at the Bitter End Yacht Club was able to help facilitate some dock space. The Marina is the way to go, with docking you get their pool, pickleball courts, basketball, shuffle board, and laundry. They also have 2 restaurants- The Drunken Pelican and their fine dining, The Drake. The Drake requires long pants and has a dress code, which means I need to add a pair pants to my packing list.

Our First stop for Lunch was the Drunken Pelican. They have great cocktails, beautiful views, and we had a good lunch. Their space is temporary right now while they complete their bar area, but by next season it should be complete.

You can take your cocktails to the pool or enjoy a cigar in their seating area.

Cindy and I decided to have dinner at their upscale restaurant The Drake. This was our best meal in the BVI this trip. You can have them pick you up in a golf cart and brought to the other side of the Island. The restaurant setting is next to the pool and over looks the Ocean.

Check out Peter Island's Marina the next time you are in the BVI, I know it will be added as 1 of our regular stops the next time we are down.
